My Journey

I began my career as a middle and high school teacher in the Houston area, working with adolescents for 10 years. I loved this work, but I wanted to be able to support kids and their families in a deeper way, so I began the path to be licensed to do mental health counseling. I earned my M.A. and Ph.D. from Sam Houston State University, and I’ve been a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas since 2014. I enjoy helping my clients throughout the The Woodlands area achieve their personal and professional goals. The essence of my work is to facilitate self-growth by helping you identify the core challenges and setbacks in your life so that you can overcome them with confidence. I specialize in creating personalized plans and providing tools to guide you forward and achieve your desired goals.
